Flørli  is a deserted industrial place without road connection in the Lysefjord .

Built in 1918 for production of electricity purpose, Flørli was deserted  in 1999. The new powerplant built inside the mountain and started that same year is automatically driven.

Thanks to new and fast tecnology, Flørli is reachable on a daily bases from Stavanger or other road connections by hydrofoil. The technicians who, in those earlier days, lived with their family in Flørli,   do not need to do so anymore. Twelve houses in Flørli, but one,  are now used for holiday purpose, some are available for short time renting.

The site has a café opened in the summer season.

Organized hiking tours are available during the season, for visitors to visite different parts of the area, among which are the 4444 wooden steps along the old pipes and leading to the dams at  700 meters above sea level.
